The International Workplace Studies Program (IWSP)
is an international leader in the study of innovative workplace strategies.
Working with companies such as IBM, Hewlett Packard, Goldman Sachs, Deutsche Bank,
and Toyota Motor Sales, the IWSP examines the ways in which the planning,
design, and management of the workplace affects five critical organizational
objectives:
1) reduce the cost of doing business;
2) improve the quality of
products and services and the speed with which these are brought to market;
3) attract and retain the best-qualified staff;
4) exploit information technologies;
5) enhance flexibility and the ability to manage uncertainty and risk.
The Center for Manufacturing Enterprise (CME) coordinates Cornell's cross-disciplinary efforts to develop and
disseminate, through education, research, and outreach, better methods
of employing people and technology to manufacture products for the

The Cornell Institute of Food Science is an outstanding

Cornell National Nanofabrication Facility is a
service-oriented user facility with all the equipment required for the
microfabrication, or nanofabrication, of complex structures, from design,
patterning and processing to testing of the finished product. Its programs
range from microelectronics to integrated optoelectronics, including research
in silicon-based and compound semiconductors.
Recognized in the hospitality field as the world's leading
partnership between academia and the hospitality industry and housed in
the Cornell School of Hotel Administration, The Center for Hospitality
Research brings together the best insights of scholarship in hospitality with

The Center for the Environment (CfE) is a Cornell-wide unit, which specializes in crafting interdisciplinary collaborations among scientists and professors from Cornell and partnering organizations to apply new knowledge and solutions to environmental problems and needs around the world.
